The vocal politicians also claimed that the politicians don’t want to be associated with Raila, that is why they don’t even invite him in their homecoming ceremony the way other coalitions do with their presidential candidates.
“They don’t believe in you. That is why they can’t invite you for their homecoming and will not put your picture in their campaign materials,” she added.
According to the lawmaker, the leaders also don’t trust the former prime minister as they are supporting him because of his running mate NARC Kenya party leader Martha Karua, who is from their region.
“They can’t trust you. That’s why they had to push you to allocate ministries before the actual campaigns.

They know you will lose again. That’s why they are now telling voters to vote for them as individuals, not parties,” the lawmaker claimed.
She also claimed that President Uhuru Kenyatta also distanced himself from Raila as he no longer campaign for him.
“Your amorphous coalition is melting. That’s why our son has opted just to watch you from TVs,” Wamuchomba said.
ODM politicians lament Jubilee politicians aren’t selling Raila in Mt Kenya
In a separate story, TUKO.co.ke, reported that Raila’s allies lamented that the Jubilee Party politicians who belong to the Azimio La Umoja coalition were not campaigning for the Opposition leader in his presidential bid.
The ODM politicians said their Jubilee counterparts have not been keen on selling Raila’s agenda in the vote-rich region, denting their target for the former premier to get over 2.5 million votes from the area.
The Orange party members also noted that the Azimio aspirants from Central were not accompanying Raila’s photo in their campaign posters.
It is alleged that the aspirants are afraid to accompany the politician’s image on their posters as he is not that popular in the area.
ODM secretary in Murang’a county Francis Gacheru regretted that when Uhuru endorsed Raila’s presidential bid, they were tasked with campaigning for him but now their Jubilee counterparts are telling voters to elect the presidential candidate of their choice.
Some aspirants openly told the publication that they are finding it hard selling Raila in Mt Kenya.
